Character Education Week

Character Education Week will take place the week of April 26th.  Students in all grades will participate in teacher-led activities surrounding respect for self and others, celebrating the uniqueness of self and others, conflict resolution, dealing with feelings, responding to bullies, and friendship.  Parents, you can support our efforts by discussing the daily character education activities with your child at home.  Interested in learning more about how you can emphasize positive character in the home, community and at school?

The following is the schedule of topics we well cover during Character Education Week.

  • Wednesday, April 28  Resolving Conflict
  • Thursday, April 29  Feelings and Bullying

In addition, the Friends of HILA meetings scheduled for April 29th will include a component on Character Education.
