Hope Institute Learning Academy

Parent and community volunteers are welcome at The Hope Institute Learning Academy.  From making copies to helping with classroom libraries to listening to a child read, there are many opportunities for individuals who wish to generously donate their time to HILA. 

Individuals wishing to volunteer at HILA must complete a CPS Volunteer Application, available online at www.cps.edu or in the school office.  The application must be completed entirely and submitted to the Principal.  CPS will then conduct a background check and approve or deny the application.  Volunteers who will be in the building more than five hours per week must also submit a proof of freedom from tuberculosis.  In addition, volunteers must attend an orientation session with the Principal.
